It is hard to believe that there are still businesses that do not use email marketing as part of their business strategy. It is a great way to generate leads and also an awesome way to sell to your current customers.

For the purposes of this email marketing checklist, and email marketing campaign consists of three basic parts and we will go into them in detail below.

  1. The Lead Magnet
  2. The Landing Page
  3. The Autoresponder

The Lead Magnet – The lead magnet is a free giveaway, either a PDF or a video that solves a problem in your niche and is valuable enough to your potential customer for them to give you their email address.

The Landing Page – The landing page is where you offer your lead magnet and where the potential customer will enter their email.

The Autoresponder – The autoresponder is a company that will store your emails and provide the means for you to be able to send pre programmed and broadcast emails.

An email marketing checklist would not be complete without a section on the types of emails that you should be sending to your subscribers.

Types of emails

There are three types of emails that you should be sending to prospective clients. Let’s take a look at them below.

  1. Content Emails
  2. Relationship Emails

Content Emails – Content emails are emails that contain some kind of value for your subscriber. It could be content from your blog, or content from someone else’s blog, but it must be of value. You could also send your subscriber other lead magnets that you may have.

Relationship Emails – Remember that you are trying to build a relationship with your subscriber. Send them news about your family, or share events in your life.

best seo checklist

As more and more businesses establish an online presence they become acutely aware of the importance of SEO to the success of their business. We have looked high and low, and this is by far the best SEO checklist that we could find.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization and it is the process of establishing factors for your website that will ensure that search engines find your pages and also find them relevant enough to include on the first page of the search results.

SEO encompasses many different factors and includes both off page SEO and on page SEO.

On Page SEO

On page SEO, as it sounds, is all of the factors that you can implement on each webpage and it is difficult to keep track of these factors without the best SEO checklist below.

Off Page SEO

Killer SEO Checklist

Infographic on Infographics

infographic on infographics

As infographics become more and more popular, we thought it was only fitting to publish an infographic on infographics!

The infographic below is a typical example of the type of content and statistics that are usually included in this type of visual content.

As you can see, it is commonplace to use different types of charts to illustrate your data.

Strangely, according to this infographic, most use the same font, with 85% using Sans Serif or Condensed Sans serif.

The average number of credited sources is 2.39 and the average title contains 4.36 words.

Infographics are a great way to illustrate statistics.

Data visualization is a great way to share research through visual devices, informational elements and general trends.

Infographics have become a popular way for bloggers and website owners to build backlinks and get social shares in order to show the search engines their relevance.

The best way to use an infographic to build backlinks is first and foremost by having a high quality infographic that people are going to want to share.

I’m not sure that this one fits the bill in that regard.

While it contains some good information, it really isn’t presented in a visually pleasing format.

It also is quite short for an infographic of any real value.

So while it is an infographic on infographics, I feel that we should create another infographic on infographics that goes into much more detail and more aesthetically pleasing.

Once you have a high quality infographic, you should submit it to every free infographic submission site that you can find.

Bear in mind that every infographic submission site is going to require a unique description of at least 300 words and the longer the better for getting your infographic published for free.

That’s why we offer our infographic content creation service here at Awesome Infographics. It makes it very easy for bloggers and webmasters to get their infographic published without having to worry about creating unique content.
